Aiguasol Consulting, leading company in innovation in energy consulting and energy efficiency in buildings, successfully stood out in the recent edition of the Smart City Expo World held in Barcelona from 7 to 9 November. Our participation was an opportunity to highlight the advanced solutions we offer to address the energy challenges of the smart cities of the future.

We were present with a physical stand of the European H2020 AURORAL project, for the promotion and creation of smart communities and digitization of rural areas across Europe, where information was distributed about the collaborating companies of the project, activities carried out within the framework, as well as the participation in the upcoming open calls for innovative ideas that help to nourish and feed back into the project.

In addition, the winning model of the Urban Challenges 2023 competition was presented in the Bit Habitat Foundation’s stand, supported by the Barcelona City Council funding, the construction of which is expected to start this November.

We were able to participate in a synergistic space where we could discuss and learn about the latest innovations focused on sustainability, efficiency and reducing the carbon footprint in urban environments. We were also able to share views with other experts on the latest trends in renewable energy, energy efficiency and how technology can transform the way cities manage and consume energy.

Alex Ivancic, Aiguasol’s partner and expert in energy communities, highlighted the critical importance of sustainability in urban development. He stated that “cities need to adopt more sustainable solutions to ensure an environmentally healthy and economically viable future.” He also stressed the importance of energy consulting as an essential tool to achieve these goals.

Aiguasol’s participation at the Smart City Expo World 2023 has allowed us to consolidate our position as a benchmark company in the energy consulting sector, and reinforces our dedication to contribute significantly to the creation of more sustainable and energy efficient cities.
