AIGUASOL is seeking a person to join its technical team in Barcelona to participate in
innovative projects aimed at decarbonizing buildings and reducing environmental impact, both
from a passive perspective and in the design of efficient systems. The projects developed at
AIGUASOL with this objective can include consultancy projects, engineering projects, as well as
research and innovation projects.

In the technical aspect, experience in understanding and modeling buildings is valued, as well
as knowledge in the design and development of energy systems. Knowledge in the design of
renewable production systems (such as thermal solar, photovoltaic, etc.) is also positively
valued.

As cross-functional skills, the ability to work in a team and carry out tasks autonomously is
valued, as a preliminary step to project coordination, problem-solving in unconventional
scenarios, and the ability to work in the field of research projects.

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering or Physical Sciences, with knowledge of building physics and/or
    thermal energy systems.
  • Experience of more than 5 years in performing these tasks.
  • Experience and knowledge in optimizing thermal demands in buildings using dynamic
    simulation tools (TRNSYS, Design Builder or others).
  • Experience and knowledge in designing efficient HVAC schemes for NZEB buildings.
  • Experience and knowledge in systems engineering for the development of preliminary,
    basic, and/or executive projects for thermal installations.
  • From a social perspective, willingness to join a cooperative organizational system with a
    participatory spirit within the collective is valued.

  • Indefinite contract with a 6-month probationary period.
  • 40-hour work week with flexible hours and the ability to autonomously manage time.
  • Hybrid work model, combining in-person and remote work.
  • 24 days of annual vacation, plus 2 additional days by agreement.
  • Salary between 35k and 40k, subject to definition based on experience and education,
    following pre-established parameters applied equitably to all employees.
  • Variable bonus between 5% and a maximum of 10%, depending on cooperative
    results.
