We are seeking a senior thermal installations engineer with extensive experience to add value by analyzing, designing, and implementing optimal HVAC and energy solutions that are efficient and aligned with our mission to build a sustainable and shared energy future.

You will be part of Aiguasol’s implementation area, where we develop thermal installations engineering projects, both independently and as part of other consultancy projects.

In your day-to-day work:

  • As project lead, you will guide your technical team to ensure projects are executed on time and to the established quality standards, meeting client needs.
  • You will coordinate and supervise your team’s tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency, while acting as a mentor and guide, facilitating training and knowledge transfer to junior staff.
  • You will prepare clear and rigorous technical reports to guide decision-making.
  • You will contribute your technical expertise to high-impact multidisciplinary projects, providing data and analyses to support the best technical solutions.
  • You will review and participate in the preparation of budgets and drawings for installation projects.
  • During site management, you will conduct visits to ensure project execution aligns with the design in terms of quality, schedule, and budget.
  • You will participate in energy audits and diagnostics, identifying strategies to improve the performance of installations and storage systems.
  • You will act as a trusted liaison between internal teams, suppliers, and clients, promoting smooth and effective collaboration.

What profile are we looking for?

We want to add to our team a person with experience and enthusiasm for putting engineering at the service of sustainability and collective work. We are looking for someone who, in addition to technical knowledge, brings critical thinking, a collaborative spirit, and a desire to grow within a cooperative.

Your experience and knowledge:

  • Essential experience in mechanical installations projects, especially in HVAC, ventilation, and renewable energy.
  • Experience in electrical and photovoltaic projects is also valued.
  • Knowledge in the analysis and design of efficient thermal production systems: geothermal, aerothermal, biomass, among others, as well as district heating networks.
  • Previous experience in project site management is highly valued.
  • Knowledge of software tools: Arquímedes or Presto for budgeting, CYPE, Autocad 2D and 3D.
  • Knowledge of dynamic simulation programs such as Trnsys, Design Builder, Energy Plus, or similar is a plus
  • Good level of English for participating in international projects.

Your background:

  • University degree in industrial engineering.
  • A master’s degree in energy is highly valued.
  • Solid knowledge in thermal installations.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the sector.
