CHEQ4 is a software application that allows any agent in the low-temperature solar thermal energy sector optimize and assess compliance with section HE4, including the HE Savings regulations as laid out in the Technical Building Code (CTE).

AIGUASOL developed CHEQ4 for the Institute for Diversification and Energy Savings (IDAE) and the Solar Thermal Industry Association (ASIT) in order to facilitate compliance with the solar thermal legal requirements in Spain.

CHEQ4 is a software applications that allows any agent in the low-temperature solar thermal energy sector to apply, comply with and evaluate section HE4, including the HE Savings regulations as laid out in the Technical Building Code (CTE) in Spain. The tool aims to facilitate the regulatory compliance by all agents working in the solar thermal sector as well as to promote a standard calculation method that is both precise and easy to use.

CHEQ4 is based on the METASOL calculation methodology also developed by AIGUASOL.
