The Smart City Week is an initiative of the city council of Barcelona to think and experiment on the relationship between people, technology and cities.

The objective is to bring citizens closer to the concept of an intelligent city, understood as the ability to use new technologies and the knowledge accumulated in the art of making a city to move towards a more inclusive and sustainable urban environment.

Through a set of activities, we reflect on how technologies modify our urban space, the way we interpret it and relate it to it.

An approach is proposed to the smart city focused on how the citizen experiences the functions of their day to day life (housing, mobility, market and agora) at different levels of relationship with the physical environment (house, neighbourhood, city and world).
Aiguasol participates in the organization of a workshop on Thursday, November 8, in the afternoon at Ca l’Alier, to share visions and opinions about the housing energy renovation and the benefits it brings.
