The objective is to select and assess public buildings for Net-Metering Solar PV (NMPV) under the Scaling-up Renewable Energy Program (SREP) to reduce the costs of energy consumption in public facilities and contribute to the achievement of 100% renewable energy target policy objective in Ghana.
The objective of this contract was to perform feasibility studies in public buildings in Ghana as to assess the possibilities of installing Net-Metering Solar PV systems (NMPV).
Tasks performed:
- Identification and selection of public institution buildings to be included in the project
- Assessment of energy consumption of public institutions’ buildings
- Determination of the area available for PV System Installation and preliminary design of solar PV
- Sustainability assessment of each of the buildings
