At Aiguasol, with over twenty-five years of experience in the energy sector and as pioneers in the creation of energy communities, we are excited to announce the launch of Join Energy — our new digital tool designed to simplify the management and control of energy communities and shared self-consumption initiatives.
This project, developed in collaboration with several energy communities based in Catalonia and with the support of the BruixIT grants — promoted by Canal Empresa of the Government of Catalonia and funded through Next Generation European funds — aims to put technology at the service of people and to promote a fairer, more efficient, and more sustainable energy model.
On April 24, 2025, we officially unveiled Join Energy at the Canòdrom, Center for Digital and Democratic Innovation in Barcelona, a venue that perfectly embodies our values of cooperation, innovation, and social transformation.
The event was attended by several energy communities from the Barcelona area, including La Bordeta.
Join Energy includes two complementary digital tools:
- JoinManager, a digital platform designed for community energy managers, making it easier to monitor, maintain, and optimize energy production and consumption across all members.
- JoinUser, a mobile app for community participants, offering real-time access to key information such as:
- Energy generated and consumed, both individually and collectively.
- Economic savings achieved through participation.
- The amortization status of investments in photovoltaic installations.
- CO₂ emissions avoided.
- All relevant community documentation, including monitoring reports and consumption histories.
Additionally, JoinUser provides personalized advice to help users optimize their energy consumption and maximize efficiency, fostering more active and ongoing engagement between members and their energy community.
