Basque public company Visesa commissioned Construcciones Sukia to build a new building of social housing. In order to improve the energy efficiency of the original design, both companies opted for a redesign of the heating and hot water system.

AIGUASOL performed an analysis of the thermal demand schedule in order to optimize and design a heating and hot water generation system based on the inclusion cogeneration technology.

The study examined a variety of technologies, power levels and hydraulic parameters for subsequent multivariate analysis in order to determine the optimum solution from a cost and energy-efficiency perspective.
