Analysis and optimization of the financial and energy performance of technical solutions for the operational improvement of greenhouses in the Basque Country and La Rioja.

AIGUASOL performed a heating demand schedule analysis in order to optimize and then design various heating and air-conditioning generation, distribution and emission systems based on a variety of technologies, such as natural gas boilers, heat pumps, solar energy and biomass technology.

In addition, we analyzed different passive architectural improvements to the greenhouses themselves, taking into account different climate conditions, the specific requirements of crops, and control of temperature and ambient relative humidity environment to optimize the annual output of various crops.
