Aiguasol’s independence and high scientific rigor confer it a recognized position of neutrality and objectivity in the sector.

Our aim is to create indoor and outdoor spaces and to devise exceptional, comfortable and efficient systems and processes that have a positive impact on the environment.

We think that with optimum creation procedures, we can improve human experience while reducing the resources used. On the basis of our extensive knowledge, experience, neutrality and rigor, we see sustainability as a crucial component in getting people to give their all and feel comfortable in their surrounding environment.

Founded in 1999, the AIGUASOL team is made up of more than 20 professionals with a high level of technical and scientific experience. They include engineers, PhDs, architects and physicists who have notable experience both in private companies and research centers.

AIGUASOL is a locally based, globally active company. We have offices in Barcelona and the Basque Country as well as a presence in Santiago de Chile, Lisbon and Bogotá. The central offices cover projects throughout Europe, Asia and Africa.

We are a self-managed cooperative company that offers engineering and consulting services on energy and air.

Through a horizontal and socially responsible structure, we maintain an independent stance and promote innovative solutions to reduce the impact of energy consumption and improve air quality.

It must be able to financially compensate the commitment and efforts of its members, offering them a decent salary and benefits, and earn sufficient revenues to invest in improving the knowledge, infrastructure and training of members and employees.

A trainer

It must promote the training of members and employees, prioritizing issues relating to their professional tasks.

It allocates part its surplus to projects and/or charitable purposes.

Fairly organized

It has completed, tested and implemented a new organizational structure enabling it to operate according to principles discussed, agreed and documented with maximum participation, thus fostering a sense of ownership in each member of the cooperative.

It will participate in, produce and carry out innovative projects and new products and expand the types of services offered.

Humane

The relationship between the various members of the cooperative should be inclusive, participatory, fair, educational, flexible and humane, that is to say, respect and understanding should be present in all interactions between members of the cooperative.

It does quality and efficient work, meeting the deadlines and project results committed to with the customer.

AIGUASOL promotes its members’ identification with the project, so that for them it becomes a point of personal satisfaction, promoting ownership and facilitating information and adoption of the cooperative’s identifying values.

All members of the cooperative enjoy equal rights and responsibilities regardless of any differences in their economic contribution, age or type of work they do. No one is excluded because of his or her gender, origin, religion and physical condition.

It facilitates the incorporation of sectors with a competitive disadvantage in the labor market.

It works to make sure its members and employees have decent fringe benefits and seeks to balance the project’s profitability with its members’ needs outside of work in terms of availability and economic support.

It promotes participation by its members not only in work tasks but also in the organization of the cooperative, helping the cooperative grow with contributions from each of its members while at the same time helping its members grow personally through their participation in it.
